SUMMARY

On a bench .......outside an upmarket London apartment block, Richard, a city futures trader with dubious ethics, meets Penny, a homeless woman. Richard bribes Penny to move on after finding her sleeping rough outside his apartment. However the next day Penny is back, she's smart and proves to be a good listener. As their respective fortunes rise and fall an unlikely friendship begins.....

An award-winning contemporary comedy by Jonathan Skinner, a playwright whose work has appeared on the London fringe and both throughout the UK and internationally. Futures was premiered in November 2014 as the Paul Darby Dramatists Winner at the Questors Theatre, Ealing.

Stone's Throw Theatre Company are proud to be bringing this gem of a play to The Wardrobe Theatre for its Bristol premiere.
