1983 - The Concert

Sat 15th Nov 2014

Impromptu Productions

Impromptu Productions bring you the music from the brand new musical, '1983'!

Britain is ushered into a new age as rioters bring down the government. Witness the rise of Big Brother and his quest for power and an end to democracy. Only one man can stop him. But is it already too late - is Britain doomed to enter an age of oppression and control? Or can Big Brother be stopped? Watch as Britain is slowly brought into the world of George Orwell's terrifying vision of the future from his famous book, 1984.

With a 27-strong cast and a 12-piece band, this is not a performance to be missed. We will be performing all the music from this show, as well as making you sure know whats happening in the story. If that's not enough for you, we'll be putting the full show on in the spring, so you won't have to wait long to come back and see the entire world of 1983!

Tickets will be sold on the door ONLY. We are holding the concert in the Auditorium of the Victoria Rooms, a fantastic performing space.

Admission: £5
