The University of Bristol’s department of Hispanic, Portuguese and Latin American studies, by arrangement with Nick Hern Books, is proud to present this production of Jo Clifford's English translation of Federico García Lorca’s masterpiece, Blood Wedding (Bodas de sangre).

Blood Wedding is one of Lorca’s most famous tragedies, telling the fateful tale of a soon-to-be Bride who is confronted by the choice between fulfilling her family duty or surrendering to an all-consuming desire.

On 20th and 21st March, let us carry you away to rural Spain - to a world of threatening moonlight, passionate flamenco and inescapable revenge.
