SUMMARY

A chilling tale of the miscarriage of American justice, uplifted by the promise of unconditional love, 'Parade' tells the true life story of Leo Frank, accused of the rape and murder of a young girl. Guilty in the eyes of all around him, only his wife stands by his side and through strength and love, becomes his biggest champion. With a spine-tingling score by Jason Robert-Brown complete with enormous uplifting ensemble numbers, Parade is utterly mesmerising.

This Tony award winning musical is set to stun and captivate audiences. To quote The Guardian:

“As you'll have guessed, this is not your average, jaunty, feel-good musical. But its power lies not just in its fabulous score – which draws on blues numbers, spirituals and hymns – but also in the fact that it dares to deal with ugly racism, political machinations and mass hysteria, and does so using ambiguity rather than certainties.”

Parade will be performed at the Redgrave Theatre, Percival Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 3LE, between the 27th-29th of March at 7.30PM.

Admission: £5(£10)
