SUMMARY

New Year’s Day. You’re walking home from the station along the river, your head brimming with the night before. And then you see him - a man, looking out over the water, clapping. Who is he? Why is he clapping? What will happen when he sees you?

Part love story, part experiment, part conversation with the world’s favourite international thriller writer, Tom Clancy, this one-woman storytelling show asks how we make sense of our experiences when certainty is in short supply and possibilities proliferate.

Carrie Rhys-Davies is a Bristol-based writer whose work has been performed at the Ustinov, Tobacco Factory Theatre and St Paul's Crypt. Most recently her monologue How To Make An Exit was directed by Anna Girvan for SanArt Theatre at The Bierkeller Theatre.
