SUMMARY

A Gift to the Future:

The date is 1623: John Heminges returns to his house on the site of the Globe Theatre witth a precious package - the first edition of William Shakespeare's "Comedies, Histories and Tragedies".

As he starts to read through the plays, the memories come flooding back - of performances, backstage intrigues, successes and disasters and above all the importance of preserving the writings of a genius who was "not of an age but for all time".

The Lover, The Wife:

Christine is sexually inhibited and stuck in her limited bourgeois world. One day, she decides to go and meet Lydia, her husband's lover...

This is a tantalising tale that will have you on the edge of your seat as you see a surprising and intriguing story unfold.

With twists, turns and a denouement that surprises all, neither Christine nor Lydia is prepared for the outcome of this highly entertaining one act play.

Admission: £12.50(£10)
